 At Nest, we thrive and believe in the power of the selfless people who volunteer their services, time, and finances. We have various different types of opportunities that you can get involved with regardless of your location or level of commitment.

WANT TO GET INVOVLED?

Throw a Nest Party: Support Nest through a summer garden party or a beautiful Moroccan style evening, start a Nest inspired book club, or have dinner with friends. Eat, drink, learn, and enjoy the simple beauties of life while supporting women across the world. A relaxing and inspiring way to do good.

 

Student Ambassador Program: If you’re a high school or college student, become a student ambassador for Nest! Host your own trunkshows on behalf of our loan recipients and raise money for our mission of helping women out of poverty through your school. Assist with a Nest Event: Wherever you are in the US, there may be a Nest event near you. Help take tickets, signup guests, work a trunkshow or educate a crowd for our mission! Sign up to be on the “go-to” list for your corresponding Nest city and be on-call when events come to your area. Find a Nest team near you (click here)!

VOLUNTEERING BASED ON SKILL: 

Some volunteer positions require a specific skills set or experience level. These positions are important to help Nest run and the recruitment process is more serious to ensure a good fit. Although commitment levels may vary depending on each individual, various spots are open in the following areas:

Graphic Design/Media publication: Create flyers, email blasts, marketing documents, and help promote Nest through your design skills. Those with experience working with professional design programs such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop are encouraged to apply. Commitment levels vary and internships are available.

Website Development/Maintenance: Help write our code to keep the Nest website up-to-date! Skills and experience in working with html and asp files are a must and individuals who are interested are encouraged to apply. Time commitment ranges from 2-5 hours per week.

INTERNSHIPS:

At Nest, we are excited by the amazing ideas and talents that our interns bring. Internship opportunities are available through Nest in categories such as graphic design, grantwriting, publicity, and sales/marketing. In order to preserve the quality of the internship experience at Nest, please note that we only have a limited number of internship positions at any given time. Also, you must reside in a city that has a Nest board during the time of internship. There is a minimum requirement of 3 months participation.
